Get to know the area
Pickering sits on Lake Ontario just east of Scarborough and the Rouge. The City Centre is walkable, with City Hall, the Pickering Central Library, the Recreation Complex and the Shops at Pickering City Centre close together. South of Highway 401, the Bay Ridges area has the newest condo towers, near Pickering GO, the Waterfront Trail and Frenchman’s Bay.
Condo choices range from Tridel’s gated Discovery Place community, built from 1989 to 2006, to Chestnut Hill’s San Francisco by the Bay and Universal City towers completed between 2017 and 2024. The large CentreCourt master plan for the mall lands will add thousands of new homes over time.
