The Danforth is organized around Line 2 and established retail streets; Leslieville and Riverside have a different mix of streetcars, independent businesses and former industrial buildings.

Condo options include small loft projects and more recent mixed-use developments. Compare the exact street, sound insulation and the amenities available to each corporation.

Get to know the area

Housing here is more dispersed than in the main tower clusters. Expect boutique mid-rises, lofts and newer infill alongside some larger projects. One-bedroom and two-bedroom suites dominate many buildings, but layouts vary sharply in converted industrial space. Line 2 serves the Danforth corridor; south of it, streetcar and bus access is more address-specific. Compare outdoor space, nearby retail and parks, noise from main streets, and whether the building has only basic amenities or a fuller package.
